Dear Emporball Community!

Our inaugural event Emporball, Canada’s First Game Day Around The World is fast approaching!

All funds generated through Emporball, without exception, will be dedicated to supporting recreational sports for underprivileged youth. This year’s event will support our charity of choice People’s Community Sports.

You can trust that your contributions will be handled with utmost integrity. Emporball is run by volunteers so the only expenses are Eventbrite fees, as well as the costs for entertainment and food. Rest assured that we have carefully managed the budget to keep costs down while guaranteeing a spectacular afternoon of giving back on November 12th!

  • Join us for a delightful afternoon filled with exciting auctions! Indulge in a wide array of captivating items up for bid, including jewelry, vacations, sports memorabilia, artwork, and a variety of practical and beautiful kitchen items. But the list doesn't end there! We have so much more in store for you to explore and bid on!

  • Games and activities for adults and children, there will be no shortage of amusement for the whole family! Get your face painted, interact with cheerful mascots and engage in various games.

  • We have food stations to cater to all your cravings. Savor the cheesy pizza, nachos, poutine, chicken wings, sumptuous sliders and warm chili and buns. A cash bar will also be available.

People’s Community Sports provides children from low-income families in Hamilton, Ontario with the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports all year round, free of charge. Emporball is excited to partner with People’s Community Sports to raise funds to help youth engage in recreational sports.

For our first campaign, the goal is to raise a total of $50,000. The money raised will help cover the operating costs of running basketball and soccer camps with trained coaches. To achieve this goal, a working committee has been created to help plan and conduct a fundraising event in November 2023. There is a lot to do to prepare for this event; we need donors, items to be auctioned, a venue for the event and, of course, tickets to sell.

"Peoples Community Sports is a free year-round sports league for kids in the Hamilton region who would not be able to afford organized sports. Players who attend the league do not pay any registration fee to join us. Hence, we rely on organizations in our region, who share our vision, for financial support. Emporball's 'Game Day Around The World' event will help us continue our mission to provide a safe and inclusive environment for kids to learn sports and have fun in the process."
